Question: Tagament or zantac, which is better !?
I've decided I have an ulcer!.!.
Please don't tell me to see a doctor because that isn't going to happen!.!.I had an ulcer years ago and I was prescribed one med and that didn't work so well, and then the other!.!.The second one worked really well!.!.!.But I can't remember which one was prescribed in which order !
I believe the ulcer is just past my stomach!.

They are pretty much the same thing!. Should work the same if you have the right dose!. Over the counter Prilosec is a different class with a different mechanism of action!. I have come to believe that the medications might be more of a cause than a cure!. I was on zantac in the AM and prilosec in the evening!. Now I do neither, use lots of Celtic sea salt, and only eat real food!. No more processed foods of any kind!. I had an ulcer and a hyetal hernia with horrible heart burn!. Since the change, I have only experienced heart burn 1 time in the last year!. But you should know that I also stopped taking 8 different prescription drugs!. Who knows what the key change was!. But I now believe that the key is to increase the acid, not block it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
