My eye is rubbery and blood shot and the lid is swollen?!
Question: My eye is rubbery and blood shot and the lid is swollen!?
About a half hour ago my eye became itchy and then started to swell it is blood shot and the white part of my eye is rubbery looking and it does not look good!.!.!.!.should I seek medical attention or will this clear on its own!.!.!.its almost mid-night here and I don't want to go to the doctor if I can avoid it please help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do you have any eye drops!? If you have some eye drops in your house (ones for allergy would be best) I would put the drops in to see if it helps!. If your eyes are itchy, red and bloodshot they may just be really dried out!. Sometimes that happens to people if they are straining their eyes, like if you have been reading or using the computer a lot!. I would take a break from the computer/tv/reading, put in some eye drops and rest your eyes for a little while and see if it helps!. If your vision becomes blurry, your eyes become really swollen or painful then I would suggest you see a physician ASAP!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
