Question: I think I took double my prescripted medication!. What now!?
Yikes!. I am a diabetic!. I normall take Glucophage (generic) 500 two times a day!. I just took it but I was distracted and I think I doubled up!. What do I do now!?

shouldn't worry, with glucophage (metformin) there is almost any risk of hypoglycemia, and if you have a good renal (kidney) function there is not risk of accumulating doses!. Keep your normal life, if you want to be sure, just call your physician and track your urine volume!.
Be careful because if that would have happened with any other anti-diabetic, the thing really would be scary!.

I do not know what the consequences of doubling your dosage!. You should contact your doctor IMMEDIATELY and let him/her know of the possibility so that he/she can discuss what you should do!.
In the future, you should purchase a daily pill case, they come with multiple doses or you can just get two different colored weekly medication cases!. I use this for my children for their allergy and asthma medications and it is very effective for knowing if the medication has been taken or not!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
