Question: Really scared! Someone answer me please! Lung Density!?!!?
I know I already asked this in another section, but I am really freaked out, and that section didnt' seem very active!.
I went to the doctor about a month ago!. I had a low fever and my back hurt!. I didn't have any respratory symptoms!. They thought I had meningitis, so they sent me to the hospital for an LP!. The ER doctor said I didn't have meningits, but he took a chest x-ray even though my "lungs sounded perfectly fine and healthy"
I went home that day, I got better in a couple of days, never had ANY resperatory symptoms, though my tonsils were swollen!.
They call me today, and tell me I need ANOTHER chest x-ray because I had some "density" in the other one, and they want to make sure it went away when I got better!.
Should I be worried about lung cancer or tumors when they say "density" becuase I did not have a cough or breathing problems!.
I am a 23 year old female!. I did smoke for a couple of years, on and off!. I wasn't smoking very much before I got sick at all!. LIke maybe once in awhile at the barWww@Answer-Health@Com

I now it is virtually impossible not to worry but try not too!. Density COULD mean like fluid from pneumonia!. Just let the doctors look you over!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
