Lymph nodes removed and swelling?!

Question: Lymph nodes removed and swelling!?
I had Lymph nodes removed under my arm 7 years ago after a battle with breast cancer!. I fell last February and broke my left wrist!. They wanted to do surgery but I declined because I care for my husband who has brain damage!. I had lots of swelling and it took 4 months for all the swelling to go down!. Did the node removal have anything to do with the swelling!? Also what problems can be caused by node removal!?

Your lymph nodes functions are to stop
bacteria and germs from attacking the body!. Lymph nodes have white cells stored in them to help with your immunity but they aren't just in your arm pits, they are in the head, neck and lower body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
