Question: Are cold sores serious!?
im 14 and i have cod sores every now and then!.!.i just found out that they are a herpes but ive never had my first kiss before!. now im all worried because herpes is like a sexual disease and so im scared!. help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't worry about it!. There are many strains of the herpes virus!. Cold sores are the mildest form!. Your mother more than likely had it when she delivered you and that's how you got it!. The virus lays dormant in your body until you experience something stressful and that would cause it to flare!.!.!.
