I am not allergic to the shot!. I get one every year, and have not had the flu in over 25 years!. I get a cold for about 5 days after I get the shot, and it is annoying, but it is worth it if I can avoid flu!.
People who are allergic to anything in the flu shot should not get it!. Also, people with certain medical conditions may be told by their doctors that they should not get the flu shot --I would think my dad would need flu shots, but his doctor has told him that he should never get one due to his health issues!.
Except in cases of allergy or unusual health circumstances, everyone should get a flu shot!. It may not prevent flu 100% of the time, but it can reduce the severity and duration of the symptoms if you do get the flu!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
