Homemade remedies to fix dry skin?!

Question: Homemade remedies to fix dry skin!?
Instead of going out to stores and buying all these crazy products and taking time to choose between them, does anyone have a homemade remedy to heal dry skin or moisturize the skin!? Specifically for your face and shins (my shins because i play soccer and the sweat gets trapped between my shin guards which makes the skin irritated and dry)Www@Answer-Health@Com

A friend of mine who has extremely dry skin swears by plain old mineral oil! She applies a small amount to her face every night and claims it works wonders!. And it's dirt cheap!. Mineral oil is actually found in many facial products (yes, even the expensive ones) so she may have something there!. Another friend swears by Vaseline - rub a small amount on your face, then apply a warm washcloth for a few minutes!. Use a tissue to gently wipe away any excess residue!. Sounds gross, but you should see her skin - it's fabulous!. Vaseline is actually good for dry skin anywhere!. During the winter, my skin on my legs (especially my shins) gets soooo dry that I itch and itch and end up with red, raw patches!. I've used vaseline at night on this with very good results!. And again - it's very inexpensive!.

Hope this helps - good luck :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Once a week take a milk bath it will nourish and smoothen your skin!. Mix two table spoons of milk powder in your bucket of water and use it for bathing and rinse with plain water in the end!.
This remedy helps because dry skin needs plenty of cleansing, massage and generous quantities of oil and moisture!. There are many helpful tips to cure dry skin at http://useinfo-dryskin!.blogspot!.com/Www@Answer-Health@Com
