Alzheimer's attacks the mind and it's functions before it starts to weaken a person's immune system!. Most patients die from complications such as pneumonia, heart failure, kidney failure, etc!. It is a devastating disease, more so for the families/caregivers, than for the victim, esp!. as the disease progresses!. It is, as an individual disease as any other, depending on the initial health and well-being of the patients!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
