Answers:
Family history does have its toll, however, asthma is mainly triggered by certain chemicals the environment (like smoke generated by automobiles, factories etc)!. So living with your baby in a small town/village with clean air is probably enough not to trigger asthma (if she was predisposed to it)!.

Also, research has found that babies who have been breast-fed instead of drinking milk formula has been found to have less incidence of asthma and are more immune to infections (i!.e!. don't get the flu often and don't get severe symptoms)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There's definitely a chance that your baby will, because it is genetically linked!. Half my family have asthma, and I was diagnosed with it about 2 years ago after what I thought was just a really bad chest infection!. It's perfectly controllable, and a lot of children that develop it as babies grow out of it within a few years!. All you can do is be aware that you or anybody else smoking around your child could cause problems, and also allergens like pet hairs and dust mites!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My wife has asthma but i don't, just because your boyfriend has it doesn't mean your child will have it!. I have a perfectly normal child!. You might get lucky and it will skip your child, why is your mother getting all bent out of shape it is only asthma!? Most children with asthma lead normal active productive lives!. Here is a better question you say your boyfriend has asthma does anyone in your family have asthma!. If you are so worried these are questions you should be discussing with your gynaecologist or the person who is helping deliver your baby!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

!.!.!. my mom or my grandma never had asthma how ever my great grandma does so its a possibility!. but if its not severe i doubt itWww@Answer-Health@Com
