How do i know if i have the flu or the common cold?!
Question: How do i know if i have the flu or the common cold!?
2 days ago i woke up with a sore throat, stiff joints chills in my kidneys and hot/cold sweats!. I still have these symptoms along with tiredness, muscle aches and a runny nose!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

fever always > 101F (often > 103)
DISABLING muscle and joint aches - like you've been hit by a truck
exhaustion
pain behind the sternum
pain on moving the eyes left and right
COLD :
stuffy nose, runny nose, cough, sore throat
no prominent myalgias
never exhaustion
no fever > 101F
either one can give you runny nose , sneezing, sore throat, cough -- so those symptoms alone are not helpful!. The extreme fever, exhaustion, and muscle aches are the big tipoff that you have the flu, not a cold!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sounds like a cold!. the flu normally involves lots of pucking!. but make sure you stay home until your better, if u really must go to work, then put on a secured sealed plastic oxygen suit so you wont get anyone else sick!. cuz it spreads thru the air!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
Sounds like flu to me!. The hot and cold sweats and aches tend to make it flue rather than a cold!.
Same thing applies though!. Get lots of rest and drink lots a water!.!.!.!.not a lot else you can do about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

By virtue of your muscle aches, hot/cold sweats, I'd say the flu!.
Colds generally only involve nasal congestion, not the other symptoms!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sounds like the "achy" flu
