Can soy sauce cause allergies? my throat doesn't feel right after I've eaten st!

Question:

Can soy sauce cause allergies? my throat doesn't feel right after I've eaten stuff dipped in it...?

Answers:

if you are allergic or hypersensitive to soya beans, soy protein or any soy derivatives, then definitely you can be allergic to soy sauce. and if you are also allergic to fermented food, or salty food then consider it an allergen for you. so might as well avoid this condiment. for most its something which we are non-reactive to, but for you it might be, so lay off the soy sauce.

have you probably checked that, you too might be allergic to whatever it was you were dipping in the soy sauce? if so try to identify and differentiate. and if you are able to positively identify these types of food then avoid them.

better yet, why not see an allegologist. this doctor can and will be able to help you those allergies and hypersensitivities.
