It helps in numerous ways!. Parents often report a reduction in symptoms right after exercising, which doesn't seem to last till the next day!. I can't remember all the reasons, but here is what I remember right now!. It inceases oxygen flow, and they lack oxygen flow for many reasons!. The increase in oxygen also helps keep some of the pathogens at lower amounts!. It also gets the lymph symptom draining more, which is almost always a problem with these children as well!. Sweating, helps rid toxins!. Many pathogens, like lyme, which some doctors feel almost all with autism have, doesn't like heat, so heating up the body with exercise is helpful!. I also remember that exercise helps neurotransmitters, which are always off balance in these children!. Thus, there are many reasons!. I don't think a treadmill is the best way to go, but rather, exercising in the fresh air would be better, but its better than not exercising!.

I never heard of it helping with motor agility directly, but maybe indirectly a tiny bit from the effects it has at reducing the toxins and paathogens and getting the body to work better!. Exercise, in itself, is not enough!. If you want to rid a child of their autism symptoms, many things are done!. Visit the following for more information:

Exercise doesn't help at all!. In cases of ptsd, victims of trauma become clumsy and lose their sense of balance although no neurological damage at all has occurred!. Such symptoms are identical in cases of severe autism giving the false impression that autism is a neurological disorder!. It isn't!. It is purely psychological!. That is why it's listed in the DSM IV of mental disorders!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
