Question: How will a doctor know if you have arthritis!?
And i arthritis is in your hands and fingers will it could worse if so how can you ease the pain i always thought arthritis was an old persons illnessWww@Answer-Health@Com

I've had arthritis since I was 7 so its not really an old persons thing!.!.!.
They'll do loads of blood tests, xrays, and feel your bones (its amazing how many you have in each joint!)!. It'll take a long time though as they'll need to keep motoring how much inflamation thingy-ma-gigs are in your blood!.
And they'll also keep trying you out on different medicines to see which work best for you - so it can be quite rocky times with all the side effects of each one, til you find one perfect!.
Arthritis is a bit hit and miss to whether it'll get worse or not!. They're called flare ups for them times when you do get a bad patch!.
It can also become worse in other joints, and some can go away with time!.
For the moment, what I do to ease pain/swelling, is to get one of them ice/heat packs - but i just stick it in the microwave for a minute and then put it on the joint!. Some people like it when they're cold, but I find cold makes me worse!.
Plus, paracetamol is pretty underrated! Its good for quickly easing some pains!
In the long run, short bursts of exercise, like Swimming and Cycling are best, will do them good as it doesnt make your joints as stiff!. Just make sure you do small bursts of light exercising as too much will punch you in the face once you;ve finished!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Arthritis is no respecter of age, some types even affect young children!. The management would depend in part on the type!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
