Question: Will my doctor know what to prescribe if i tell him i want a med that doesnt cause weight gain!?
Like without naming the meds, if i just went to him and said i want to change my meds cuz they have caused me to gain 20 pounds!. i want to be on a differnt medication that doesnt cause weight gain or causes weight loss!. will he know what to put me on!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on the type of medication you want!. If you are bipolar, most medications for that will cause you to gain weight!. Either way, the doctor is very well versed in things like this, so he will know what medications to prescribe that will not make you gain weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
