Can this be cancer of skin?!

Question: Can this be cancer of skin!?
I am 25, I have reddish dark blonde hair, blue eyes and fair skin with phototype II!. I have many birthmarks all over my body, especially on my arms and chest!. When I was a child I had sunburn many times, once even second degree burns on my shoulders!. I am trying not to sunbathe anymore, but this summer I spent one week by the Mediterranean sea and I didn't put on suncream so I got sunburn!. I am worrying now about one birthmark on my chest, it used to have reddish brown color with slightly darker center, but before few weeks it started bleeding a lot and there was dark scab on it, then it fell away and now it seems that the birthmark is all gone and there is a red pimple instead of it!. I wonder if this could be cancer because it is only around 5 mm big!. Do you think that it is necessary to go to the doctor and have it removed!? Thanks for advice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should have your doctor look at the mole!. When my mole started to bleed my doctor looked at it and diagnosed me with melanoma, and took it out!. Though it still could just be an irritated mole, often confused with skin cancer!. Whatever happens good luck!.
