Question: What causes constant chest pain as well as pain when touched!?
3 ekg's have come back normal so i dont think it could be a heart problem, but what else could it be!? im tired of waiting :(
im still waiting for blood tests to come back!. Its been reoccuring, i tried nexium but that didnt have an effect so i doubt its acid reflux!. i took medicine for costochondrias but that didnt help either!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be pericarditis, any number of GI problems, or a heart attack!. I actually had a patient come in the other night who was having chest pain and was rushed to the cath lab!. She had a large heart attack!. The funny thing is that before she went to the cath lab, she told me that when she physically touched her chest, it hurt!. But when she pressed hard on her chest it relieved the pain!. I had never heard of this in my 8 years of nursing!. EKG's don't have to be glaringly horrible to indicate a heart attack!.
I have also found that GI and stomach problems can mimic heart problems!. I work in a cardiac ICU and I have had chest pain before and immediately placed myself on the monitor!. NO changes were noticeable!. A lot of the time is just ends up being gas, or GI upset!. The stress you feel of waiting for your labs to come back can cause the pain you're feeling as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
