I am 20 years old, and have a serious problem (well for me it is!) not so long ago I noticed a small lump on my armpit and it hurt when I touched it, I had it for 2 days and then left, then the next day a bigger lump came out and it hurt very badly!. Okay I still have it and I can't move my arm up! it hurts terribly!. I am afraid it may be cancer!. Also afraid to go to a doctor!. does any one know what can this be!? please help! I think I was exactly your age when I had the same thing!. The first thing the doctor told me was that breast cancer does not hurt when you touch it, period!. Your lump is not breast cancer so take a deep breath and relax!.
Chances are that you just have a cyst!. They grow for lots of reasons, including random chance and genetic traits!. Mine seems to be from a genetic trait!. My mom gets random cysts and then they stay!. I get random cysts and they go away after a week or so!. They do hurt, though!.
Since it isn't breast cancer, but you aren't sure exactly what it is (I am not a doctor and no one should diagnose you over the internet) I say go on to the doctor!. Stop freaking out, relax, it isn't cancer and probably isn't fatal, but if it came back the doctor really needs to check it out!. She will probably ultrasound it just to make 100% sure!. Women your age get ultrasound, not mammograms because ultrasounds can see more in young women with different density of breast tissue than older women!. Ultrasound doesn't hurt, it is just a little awkward to have someone scanning your breast!.
If it is a cyst with liquid in it, she may try to drain it with a needle, but more likely she will suggest you put a hot water bottle on it a few times per day and wait it out!. Don't wait!. Please see your doctor as soon as possible!. It's possible that it is something that can be fixed simply!. The thing about cancer is that the faster you find out you have cancer the much better chances you have of beating it!. Untreated cancer can grow very rapidly and turn into a huge monster in a short period of time, so that's why it is so important to have lumps checked out as soon as possible!. Don't let your fears keep you from going in! You might have fibrocystic breast tissue which I personally have!. (The pain is especially prominent before periods!. If you discover you are fibrocystic--take Omega 3 tabs daily! I read these help and they have completely eliminated my pain!) You could also have an infection in a lymph node!. It could be numerous things!. Give yourself the peace of mind your doctor is able to offer you! In the off chance that you have anything going on, jump on top of it early!.

you need to see your doctor ASAP!.!.!.if you are afraid, take a close friend or family member along with you for support!. This could be something minor like a cyst or it could be something alot more serious, like you have mentioned, a type of cancer!. if it is breast cancer, you have a much higher rate of survival if it is found early!.

Yes i have heard something about this and it is very serious! you do need to go to the doctor! sorry! i know no one likes to hear that but its better you get it control of it now, before it is to late!.!. Tell your parents (rather you still live with them or not) and go to the doctor as soon as possible!
I'm not saying this is cancer but i know of someone who had a problem like this and it was cancer!. But Lets hope yours is something else like an inflamed muscle or something!.

YOU DEFINITELY NEED TO GO TO THE DOCTOR!. ASAP! Seriously any lunp in the breast or near the armpit could definitely be cancer!.!.!. I don't want to scare you but that's serious! It could turn out to be nothing but you need to go to the doctor!.!.!. if it is cancer the sooner you go the better chance you have to beat it! Please go to the doctor! I know going to a doctor isn't fun at all-but the longer you delay- it'll only get worse!. Go as soon as you can- in could be just a skin lump or benign (nothing to worry about)!. Yes it could be cancer-but there are so many possible things!. Please go to a doctor soon!.

Breast cancer at your age is almost unheard of!.
What you describe could be swollen lymph nodes, or perhaps a cyst!.
Cancerous lumps don't come and go!.
But really, if it's still there in a few days you need to see a doctor about it, whatever it is!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sometimes after you get your period you get lumps!. Your best bet however much you may hate it you have to go to the doctor!. The longer you Wait the worst it will get!. Not only medically but for your peace of mind as well!. Good Luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
