Is this real or is it a hoax? And does it work? Any examples. I've only seen like one website for it.

Psoriasis can be a very hard to treat condition and as far as I am aware there is no cure. A dermatologist or other Dr. is your best bet for treatment. Stay away from unknown promises that cost a lot of $$. One biggie for psoriasis is diet and NO alcohol! A lot of things can trigger a bout of it and alcohol is on the #1 list.
A new thing that is helping my Dad with his milder form of it is Vicks Vapor Rub! We have a medical column in our local paper wit Dr. Gott.....a lot of people are finding relief with psoriasis and nail fungus and a few other things using this. My Dad rubs it on at night and showers it off in the morning. It has helped him and it is inexpensive and safe...the odor is the only problem and he just uses a good soap and washes down a couple of times to get all of it off.
