I last had sex and oral sex with my boyfriend on friday!. on saturday I started to get the first symptoms of thrush which developed further on sunday!. how likely is it that i passed the thrush onto my boyfriend considering he was not wearing a condom!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You could have well have passed it onto him, the symptoms usually show up straight away but you may not have noticed them at the time! You probably know that you can get treatment for thrush in any pharmacy, ask for their generic (own) brand!. If you're not pregnant, take the fluconazole capsule 150mg dose and get the clotrimazole cream to use topically!. Your boyfriend should use the cream too, it may be better to get a separate tube for him!. Even if you both use the treatment, try to abstain from sex until all the symptoms have passed, around 4-5 days, otherwise you will just keep passing it back and forth to each other!. And don't be shy about telling him, it's a fungal infection, you may have caught it from him, it's not a sexual disease as such, it can just be passed on that way!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
