Question: If a kidney stone stops moving, how long does it usually take to start up again!?
I had extreme pain on Wednesday and was discharged from the hospital 24 hours later!. I never passed it!. I only have mild pain every now and then!. How long on average does it take to start moving again!? Its been 4 days now!.!.

No way to tell!. You may have already passed it and don't know it yet!. The stone sometimes isn't a killer until it is cm from the bladder!. There are quite a few case's where you may fold from pain but the stone is only mm from the bladder and you don't feel it until it takes the tumble for the last few mm then it drops into the bladder and never is noticed again!. Happens a lot to people with stone probs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
