And also PAT!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Correction on the last post!.!.!.PAT is Paroxysmal Atrial Tachycardia and it can be categorized under SVT!. SVT is a generic term used for any atrial dysrhythmia; ie, Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Tachycardia: PAT & MAT (multifocal atrial tachycardia) because the arrhythmia orginates above the ventricle!.

VT is Ventricular Tachycardia and can be lethal without appropriate treatment

SVT is any tachydysrhythmia that originates above the ventricles!.
It is a dysrhythmia with a rapid ventricular rate and a narrow QRS complex, and its origin is either atria or junctional!. The rate is between 150-250 beats per minute!.

V-Tach originates in the ventricles!. The QRS is very wide and the rate is between 101-250 beats per minute!.

PAT is premature atrial tachycardia!. This is when the rate is tachycardic (>100) and is going along its normal rhythm (atrial contraction to ventricular contraction) and then suddenly there is a premature atrial beat and then the rhythm goes back to the way it was!.

Any time the rate is too high, the heart is having to work too hard!. Also, because it is beating so fast, the heart does not have time to adequately fill up between beats, therefore less blood is able to pump to the rest of the body, causing many symptoms!. V-Tach is the most dangerous of these rhythms!. A person can have V-tach either with a pulse or without a pulse!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

supra ventricular is above the ventriles meaning it is done by athria!. ventricular tachy is the fast heart beat caused by ventricles!. I don't know what PAT isWww@Answer-Health@Com
