I have low potassium in my blood how can I increase it?!

Question: I have low potassium in my blood how can I increase it!?
Answers:
that depends on why your potassium is low!. are you taking diuretic medication!? if so, you need prescribed potassium replacement!. food won't do it!.
you can improve your potassium level if it just happens to be low by eating raisins, they are six times higher in potassium than bananas, and a half cup a day is all you need!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your potassium level is low it could be due to a high salt intake!. Too much sodium (table salt or sodium chloride) may lead to preferential absorption of sodium at the expense of potassium as sodium and potassium interact!. They are very similar and are both alkali metals!. Most of us consume too much salt whether we like it or not because a lot of processed food such as bread, cheese, butter, etc contains added salt!.
