Masturbating will not have an affect on your genital herpes!. So long as your not doing it when you have an out break or one that is healing!. If you do it rough enough you could possibly trigger a small out break!. That is about it!. Oh you may want to wash your hands when your done!.

Shame! Masturbating won't affect your herpes!. If you are having an outbreak though, you should probably use a condom to stop the virus spreading to anywhere else!. Also, wash your hands thoroughly before and after - before so you don't infect the sores, and after so you don't spread the virus around!. If you aren't having an outbreak, still wash your hands! Finding out that you have genital herpes can make you an emotional train wreck, but with 1 out of 4 people having it you are likely to meet someone with it as well!. Within time you will get emotionally stronger!.
If the outbreaks are to hard to physically or emotionally hard to handle I suggest on getting on suppressive therapy!. Taking medication daily!.
