Question: Do i need to go on antibiotics for a deer tick bit!?
i found a tick on my leg this morning!. it was only attached for a couple of hours at the most!. do i have to start a course of antibiotics!? the bite site is not very irritated and it does not hurt!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not necessarily, watch it for a day or two as long as the area doesn't turn red or swell!.you should be fine!.Also watch for any type of rash in the area!.if you get a rash ,swelling or reddness of the area then see your doctor about treatment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
