1!. You're silly for not calling your mom or a doctor!. 911 might not be the greatest choice since I doubt you're dying if you are able to use Yahoo Answers, but I'd advise calling your mom at least!. If you are this sick, you need to take care of yourself, and worry about your mom's stress levels later!. Maybe she will even feel better if she is not thinking about your grandma's death!.

2!. Does it hurt to breathe, and have you been coughing!? Chest pain that comes with a sinus/ear infection is likely going to end up being some kind of respiratory infection!. Since it's not the left side of your chest and you didn't mention any other symptoms it doesn't sound like a heart problem so I would assume it's your lungs!. If you can't get in contact with your mom maybe it would be best to take some ibuprofen or robitussin and see if that eases the throat and chest pain any!.

3!. Get to a doctor or take care of yourself at home! Where is your dad or another family member!? If you are that sick you really shouldn't be home alone! If you feel so bad that you think it's necessary, call 911 or your local emergency number, and worry about the rest later!. Otherwise, you -could- look up your symptoms on WebMD!.com to see if there is anything you could try at home, but I advise against it unless you are very sure of your symptoms, since their online symptom checker is not specific and will give you a huge list of possible issues, which you will have to read through to get more information!.

Ways to help at home: If the pain is very strong, you could take a painkiller like ibuprofin or tylenol!. Read the instructions on the bottle - it's usually no more than 2 tablets every 6-8 hours for adults!. The painkiller should help with your chest pain and sore throat, but it will only mask the symptoms and won't help you clear anything up, so you still need to talk to someone about your pain!. You could also see if you have any Robitussin for colds or sore throats, or find some cough drops to help for a little while!. Again, read the directions carefully before taking any medicine!.

Another thing that might help is a hot drink!. If you have tea at home, make some tea!. You can put sugar or honey in it if you want!. Honey and lemon juice is good for soothing sore throats!. Make it as hot as you can stand and sip it carefully!. The warm liquid will help your throat and loosen up any mucous so you can cough and breathe more easily!. You could also heat up apple cider, or just a cup of water with some sugar/honey and lemon juice (a little splash is enough) in it!. The important thing is that it's hot!. (Note: Always be careful when handling hot water! Don't stick your fingers in it to test temperature and don't touch the bottom or sides of a mug that has very hot water in it!)

Finally, you could see if there is any Vick's Vaporub or something similar that you could rub gently on your chest above and around where the pain is!. It will help to open up your breathing a little bit and dull the pain!.

Good luck and I hope you feel better soon!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Call an emergency number so that you can get help/advice straight away!.
Just relax and take slow deep breaths to calm yourself!. Maybe have a glass of water to cool yourself down!? It's probably best that you call emergency if you are unable to get in contact with anyone else!.

Definitely call your mum if your chest is getting worse!. She might be able to tell you what to do and it will also make you feel a lot calmer talking to her!.

Hope your feeling better :]Www@Answer-Health@Com
