Question: I know this is a silly question, but does the influenza virus stick to clothing!?
Just a concerned Mom!.!.!. I got jeans from eBay in the mail today and it came from someone who had the flu and I forgot and touched them!.!.!. I just don't want to bring it in our household!. I have the clothing in the washer on sanitize!. Please don't say I'm stupid for asking because some viruses can stick to clothing!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
A virus can't live on clothing!. Even if it was there, it would eventually die because it needs a host to live off of (human, organism)!. And even if it could because it was sent through the mail, the virus would be long gone dead now!.

It's a good thing you washed them though!. Besides viruses, who knows what else might have been on it from the previous owner, lol!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
