There are a number of issues with those who have kidney stones!.!.!.!.

1!. they may stay there forever and never bother you
2!. more frequently, they will eventually pass!.!.!. provided they are smaller than 5mm!. And unfortunately, it will still hurt a lot when they do!.
3!. staying VERY well hydrated may prevent them from growing larger!.!.!. depending on what they are made of!. There are different types of stones!.
4!. unless they are too large to pass (>5mm), most urologists won't do surgery to take them out!.!.!. nor will insurance companies pay for such a surgery!.

Hope that helps!.!.!. even if it isn't what you wanted to hear!.

If the stones are large, they may stay in your kidney and not cause any problems!. It is when a small piece breaks loose and moves down your ureter towards your bladder that the pain becomes excruciating as your ureter spasms while trying to move the stone down!. By increasing your fluids dramatically, you can assist your kidneys in moving small stones down into your bladder where you can pass them!. Larger stones, if they cause problems, have to be removed during a surgical procedure by a Urologist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to supplement your diet with zinc!. Zinc citrate, zinc gluconate, or Optizinc are more easily absorbed!. You may take up to the maximum recommended dose of 100mg per day!.

And yes you should be drinking a lot of water - up to 3 quarts per day!. For pain relief, drink the juice of half a fresh lemon in 8oz of water every half hour until the pain subsides!. You may alternate between lemon juice grapefruit juice and apple juice!.

Eat a lot of fresh green leafy vegetables, broccoli, yellow and orange foods such as pumpkin, papaya, carrots, cantaloupe, collard and other foods rich in vitamin A!.

It would be good if you include in your diet the following foods which are sources of zinc:
Dulse, egg, fish, kelp legumes, lima beans, liver, meats, mushrooms, pecans, oysters, pumpkin seeds, sardines, seafood, sunflower seeds, whole grains and parsley

If you carefully follow the above, the stones should dissolve and pass out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
