Question: my mom has copd, what is COPD!?
i just went with my mom to a lung specialist!. he said my mom has had copd for a long time, what does this mean,

Chronic Obsturctive Pulmonary Disease, The airways in your lungs are blocked (obstructed)!. Because of this breathing takes more effort!. You also become short of breath, There are two types Chronic bronchitis, and Emphysema!. You get it from smoking!. I have it and I am on oxygen 24/7!. But feel much better with it!. When your oxygen level goes down you feel tired and sometimes sick, because you body and brain are not getting enough!.
