Drinking after having your appendix removed?
Is it ok to drink alcohol about 10 days after having your appendix removed due to appendicitis?
Answers:
The usual recommendations are to avoid alcohol for 24 hrs. postop. No alcholol while on pain meds. Work back to a regular diet over the following 3-4 weeks and if your regular diet includes alcohol, then you have your answer.
