Has anyone ever used Vick's Vapo Rub to treat toenail infections/fungus? Did it work?

fungus has an affinity for people cuzits dna is 92 percent like ours,,,it roosts in the nail matrix like those scratchin diggin mutts on lamisil commercial,,,,nothing,nothing,... 50 otc items works,,,,,,prescribed antifungals sometimes are ineffective,,,a podiatrist can excise the infected nails with local anesthesia,,,,its not as bad as it sounds,hasta inject procaine hcl into nerves above toe,the nail itself is often pretty soft and sits loose in the nailbed,,,,,,the nail will grow back in a couple months,and doc might prescribe diflucan to kill any remaining spores,,,,,you might also check the house for mold & fungus in crawling spaces,tub,shower,,,which you can treat with ps disinfecting foam from speedway,this stuff has antifungal properties,,,,,,,,,,squirt a couple 'pssts ' in a skinny necked medium size bottle,put a plastic stem from any household squirt container,,,,,,,get a home depot portavac with an exhaust attachment with concentrator nozzle installed so it blows,,,,,,,aim nozzle across stem in bottle so the stuff sprays out in a fine mist,,,,,,,,,,,spray up & down all through the house.do this twice a week,also use a sunlamp from a second hand shop to set in each room for a half hour,,,,,,fungus & spores are zapped by ultraviolet light,ask doc for maintanance dose of diflucan too,,,he probly will do a liver profile,check your blood for insulin/diabetes problem.you may as well use vicks as furniture polish,,,,along with the other crap sold over the counter,,,,,,even doctors choice of antifungal sometimes is not effective,either cuz a sub variety of fungus is resistant to it,or ,immune peculiarities,in that some people who live where the spores are like a drippy water source in the house,,,,have the full course of tmt,doc says its cleared up,and nail is infected again in 6 months,some people wear out the doctor till he hollers & says live with it,,,& then he calls it psoriasis,have your doctor (i hope you have ins) take scrapings of nail for the lab folks to look under the microscope & see what kind of muttser diggin up your nail,,,he then should see that the correct antifungal kills the ratty critter/vegetable
