Question: Will i get a nasty infection!?
i have been a self-harmer for many years!.i just injected myself with my own urine,into a vein on my arm!.Will this cause an infection!?Please,no hateful comments! Yes,i know this was stupid!.I need to know if i will be ok,or if i need to go to the doctor!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It will depend if you took the sample from just peeing straight into a container and then shooting yourself or did you pee a little, then grab a bit of urine and then kept peeing into the toilet!. If you collected what is known as a mid stream urine (not beginning or end, but middle) and if you don't have a urine infection, the chances of an infection are nil as the bladder is sterile - but you could still have an inflammation due to the build up of toxins that urine contains!. If you collected all of your urine sample into one container and then injected yourself then you could have injected bacteria into yourself and depending on the virulence of the bacteria and the number of bacteria in the sample, then yes you could get a nasty infection which could be quite serious!. I would definately speak to a doctor as soon as possible, as you could come down with sepsis (bacterial infection of the blood) and this can be deadly!. If you are experiencing any sort of fever visit a hospital immediately and fully disclose what you did!.

I don't know, do you think injecting waste into a vein so it can flow through your body might cause an infection!? That's all the crap your body didn't need!. At best you'll get an infection, at worst you'll be hospitalized!. I'd go see a doctor, your body is absorbing all of that junk as I type this answer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I would not assume that it could be good for you!. Your body gets rid off wastes in urine for a reason, so putting it back in, in your bloodstream at that, might be harmful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
urine is sterile so you should be ok!. but injecting yourself with urine is not a good thing to do!. best call a doctor and check and then see a therapist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
