Yes and no. While you can bring charges against someone for giving you an STD, it is almost impossible to prove. You would have to be able to prove that they knew they had the STD and purposely did not tell you. You would also need to prove that you did not have one before having sex with them, and that you have not had sex with anyone else in that time.
There are millions of people walking around with STD and do not know it. You cannot bring charges against any of them for being too ignorant to get tested. In the same respect, if you sleep with someone without confirming their status then you pur yourself at risk. It would then be partly your own fault.
