no!. diabetics must pay just like everyone else :( !!
but no harm in ringing around locally and finding out for yourself!. as for nosdda's answer, there are only 2 types, 1 and 2! the severity of the symptoms is based on your control of the disease!. there aren't "grades"!.!.!.!.unless i've seriously missed out on something!!!
if you have been diagnosed and are overweight joining a gym will do wonders for you!. i'm type 1 and not overweight and even i found my sugars were much more regulated when i went to the gym 2-3 times a week!.

i think the council run some schemes for obesity in this country but not sure I have ever heard of a scheme for diabetes!.
Your easiest solution is to ring the council of the area where you live and they will let you know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

cant see why you should have free membership, and if you did i think it depends how bad the diabetes is!. there are grades of diabetes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
unless you are unemployed or receiving disability benefits for something else then no cause diabetes is not an illness, if it was how many people would be claiming benefits!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
