What are the White specks in my Poop ?

I have been seeing some tiny white dots in my poop.
My "dots" are very small,(about the size and shape of a mustard seed or a poppy seed....take your pick), and very hard to crush with nothing that I can see on the inside of them. Also, they are white in color, pure white. I've had them off and on for many months now. I have tried to think if it might be something I've eaten but can never come up with anything which resembles the small seed like things in my poop. Pictures of eggs I've seen seem to be more oval in shape but these are unmistakably round (and white). Another "stage" I witness ,at times, occurs about an hour after a "normal" BM , before which I always have bad cramping. I get even stronger cramps and will then have a "bout of mush" which always has lots of mucus and translucent stringy things, I'll like a hair thin 1/2" reddish vein thing running thru it. Also fleshy paper thin stuff that is wavy in the bowl and looks like colored seaweed.

I am definitely not a doctor, but I would suggest going to one about what's going on with you.

The white specks sound a lot like a possibility of worms, as well as the stringy particles in your feces, and if that's the case, you should definitely get it checked out.
