me and my boyfriend just started having sex,
we started off unprotected but recently started using condoms!.
a few days ago i started having a urine infection and now it's really bad, im litterattly peeing cloudy & red!.
i mean, i had a urine infection when i was like 7 or something, but is is possible to get one from sex!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

very common for a woman to get UTI after sex!.
just by all the activity pushing E!. coli bacteria into the urethra -- very easy to have this happen (just look at the anatomy of the area)!.
But note there was another question in this forum on whether the woman can transmit her bladder infection to the man -- this is preposterous!. Does not happen!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, it's entirley possible to get a UTI from sex!. Everyone has bacteria on their genitals and, as you know, your urethra is very close to that area!. The best way to prevent this from happening is to go urinate right after you are done having sex!. This helps wash the bacteria out of your urethra!. This does not mean urinating will absolutely prevent UTIs, it just makes it a lot less likely that you will get one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Definitely - it even has it's own nickname from back in the 50's - it's called honeymooner's disease (cos that's when most women lost their virginity)!.
If it's cloudy and red that means it is a serious infection - go to the doctor and get some antibiotics asap - you don't want the infection spreading upwards into your kidneys!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Of course it is! That's how most women get them!. Always empty your bladder immediately after having sex and increase the amount of fluids you drink!. Condoms cause friction and if you are not perfectly clean those little germs that are always prowling around get thrust right up into your urethra!. This is not a good reason to forgo condoms however!. You just need more lubrication and a little less roughness!.

Its possible you could of gotten irritated from the condom there are so many things that can happen down there!. If its that bad go to a doctor and start drinking cranberry juice immediately!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
you can get an infection if you do not pee after sex!. Always make yourself go and wipe from front to back!. Go see the doctor, it could be infection or something else!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
