Question: I just found out I have Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, am I wrong for not telling my ex!.!?
Early this morning I went to the E!.R after having severe abdominal pains for days now,and the diagnosis was that I have Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, when i asked the doctor how does a woman get that he told me that it usually comes from an STD that went untreated and I was told that I need to tell my partner to get himself checked out for any STD!. Now my question is this, I have never cheated on my ex boyfriend, and before we started having unprotected sex I was STD free, and I believed him when he told me he was,and when he cheated on me he promised me and swore to me that he used a condom, but I now realize that he lied to me and because of this my anger, hurt and resentment is really having me consider not telling him about my hospital visit and diagnosis,I am really not selfish, but I do not know how long I could've been infected because of his selfishness and stupidity not to mention I now have the fear that the damage may already be severe to the point where I am infertile!. I know it takes 2 but like I said I never cheated on him!. And this is the same man that dumped me because I hugged another man!.

If you have something you should tell him!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.not out of protection for him, but for protection to all the other women he could be spreading it to!. Don't get yourself too upset until you get tested for STDs and know for sure!. Some women get PID without having an STD, it is possible, it's really sad that your ER doc was so ignorant and scared you like that!. I hope you do decide to tell him, just don't look at it as doing something for him he doesn't deserve, do it because you don't want anybody else he may lie to to have to go through what you're going through!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You can have that without having had an STD!.!.!. it is a very common thing these days!. So first find out it you have an STD!. If you do, decide if it benefits you at all to tell him!. It will probably just hurt because he will tell more people about it because he already sounds like a jerk!. It is not selfish not to tell him, if he does have an STD he probably knows it already, so don't worry about telling him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You first have to find out if you have an STD!. If you do, then yeah, you need to talk to him!. PID can be caused by other things, you shouldn't assume that's what caused it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
