Eh, don't listen to unknown!. I had my tongue pierced and I have never had any problems!. Your mouth is one of the cleanest parts of your body!. You feel sore because you just pierced a big muscle!. Keep on with the listerine!. If you were infected, YOU WOULD KNOW!. It would hurt like holy heck!. A sure sign of an infection is white puss!. Swelling is also a sign, but since you just got pierced, you tongue is naturally gonna swell!. That's why you get the longer bar for your first piercing!. You can switch later to something smaller and more comfortable!.

oh and btw, keep a couple extra tounge rings available!. Eating and stuff loosens the ball and sometimes you swallow the ball in your sleep!. Your tounge heals fast, so if you want to keep your peircing, you need to keep the bar in it at all times!. My peircing closed in like 3 days, and I had it for well over a year!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I suggest taking it out!. It isnt good for your oral hygiene to have a piercing in place!. Besides tartar building up on it, it can damage the inside of your mouth, specifically the gums behind your lower teeth!. Once your gums are pushed downwards they DO NOT grow back! And the roots of your teeth become exposed!. Roots have no enamel on them and the roots of teeth are more susceptible to cavities!.

Take it out immediately! Let the hole close and dont get another mouth piercing!. They look bad and are bad for your oral health!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
