Is there a class you can maybe drop for now and maybe take a study hall and use that time to help catch up!. I think first of all you need to meet with all of your teachers and ask for their help!. If you had a valid reason for missing so much school (sounds like mono maybe!?) they will understand and help you best they can!. Talk to your guidance dept too!.

I have been out of high school now ten years, but one thing I wish I had learned while in high school was to ask for help and work with profe!.!.!. err teachers to help you!. In college I learned that!. Whenever I was feeling overwhelmed I would just meet with the prof and explain what was going on!.

Most teachers when they see the effort you are putting in and when they know the situations going on in your life and get to know your face and know you as a person are much more forgiving about things!.

Also maybe some of your friends in your classes, if you have friends that are good students can help you catch up!. Sounds like over the next month or so you will need to turn off AIM, Facebook, and TV and spend a lot of time listening to some music and catching up on work!. Put the time in now and by Thanksgiving break you should be able to totally catch up!.

I find that when I was feeling overwhelmed making a list of every single thing I had to do was very helpful!. As I finished one task I could check it off the list and I could see slowly and surely I was making progress - which was helpful for me visualize what I needed to do!.

Make sure you ask you parents for the support you need to - maybe they can help out by giving you less chores or something (if you have them)

Don't worry! It will be a lot of hard work but you will be able to catch up if your approach it head on and proactively! Www@Answer-Health@Com
