Contact dermatitis..........?!

Question: Contact dermatitis!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!?
so i have this obsession with belts but i've recently found out that i'm allergic to the nickel on belts (a lot of my belts have the metal studs)
i really don't want to stop wearing belts i feel strange when i haven't got one on - plus they keep my jeans up lol -

so basically

does anyone know if you can get belts that have the metal studs on but maybe not made out of nickel!?!? and if so where can i get them from, as i've asked in the shops i usually get my belts from and they look at me like i stabbed there mothers!!

also is there any cream other than hydrocortisone ointment that can clear up contact dermatitis as it really burns my skin when i use itWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Put clear nail polish on the metal portion of the belt that touches your skin!. You will need to reapply every so often!.

You could tuck a thin tank/undershirt in and then the belt wouldn't touch you at all!.

After washing the area with soap and water you could try Neosporin instead of hydrocortisone cream!. It works for my daughter!.

Even though you didn't ask, this may be useful in the future:

Corticosteroid skin creams or ointments may reduce inflammation!. Carefully follow the instructions when using these creams, because overuse, even of low-strength over-the-counter products, may cause a troublesome skin condition!. In severe cases, systemic corticosteroids may be needed to reduce inflammation!. These are usually tapered gradually over about 12 days to prevent recurrence of the rash!. In addition to or instead of corticosteroid skin treatment, your doctor may prescribe tacrolimus ointment or pimecrolimus cream!.

Wet dressings and soothing anti-itch (antipruritic) or drying lotions may be recommended to reduce other symptoms!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try painting the studs (that contact your skin) with clear nail varnish or with a sticking plaster!. I have a belt I love but get an awful rash just below my belly button if I wear it - I varnished the buckle and no more pimply itchyness!.

Wash the rash with a Ph neutral soap, Dove (may be called something else if you are in the U!.S!.) is great as it doesn't sting!.

You can also buy whumping great tubs of Aquaous Cream from chemists for a small amount of money and this is very soothing and a little goes a l o n g way!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
