make a cup of tea, let the tea bag cool then place it on the cold sore for approx 3-5 mins do this as often as you can!.

You won't be able to get rid of it today, but the cheapest way to do it is to keep applying warm, wet tea bags to it when you can!. The tannin in the tea will help heal the skin!.

You can buy transparent cold sore plasters which you put over the cold-sore and apparently hide them!. I have never used them before so I don't know how effective they are!.

Otherwise, go to the chemist and ask for Zovirex or Blistex!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cold sores usually feel itchy at first then may enlarge and ooze a little then kinda scab over!. Lots of anecdotal remedies, melt an aspirin and put the paste on (as long as ur not allergic), OTC carmex may help as may black licorice!. There is a prescription zovirax cream that you can ask your doctor about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
