sorry to have to point this out --
there is no cause of BACTERIAL sore throat that requires an antibiotic to get better!. There are two exceptions:

1!. diphtheria (eradicated from the US by vaccination)
2!. gonorrhea (seen extremely rarely in prostitutes)

No, strep throat does not require an antibiotic to get better - you get better on your own even without antibiotics!.

You didn't get better in a week because you have a VIRAL PHARYNGITIS - and the average duration of that entity is a week - that means some people are better in 3 days, some are not better until 14 days!.

Sure you'll get better - some time within the next 7 days !.
But is has nothing to do with your antibiotic!.
The antibiotic was unnecessary!.

Antibiotics take 24 to 48 hours to kick in and get up to therapeutic levels!. Do not stop taking them just because you feel better!. Take as directed and finish the whole bottle!. If you don't finish the Rx the infection can come back and the second time around might well be resistant to the antibiotic, and so will be much harder and more expensive to treat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Right away!. You'll feel better very soon!. Make sure you take all of the pills even if you feel good!. There's a good medical reason for that and you would hurting yourself not doing it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should start to feel better in a few days just make sure to finish the whole prescription even if you feel like you are betterWww@Answer-Health@Com

Within 24 hours!. Maybe a little longer depending on the severity of your illness!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

as soon as you start taking then and if they are taken at the right time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
