Question: How long will it take me to get better from this infection!?
I have a bacterial infection in my sinus cavities, the doctor said it was caused by a cold that I never got over!. He prescribed Astelin, Tylenol w/codeine, Claritin, and Loratadine!.
I feel just miserable, I'd been suffering from this for over 2 months before I saw a doctor (stupid, I know), does anyone know when I will start feeling better!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ok, the other stuff I can understand, but tylenol w/codeine!? That seems like overkill!. If he wants you to just sleep for the next 3 days, hitting you over the head with a frying pan would be a more effective method than doping you into oblivion!.!.!.
Anyways, a sinus infection reacts well to a combination of decongestant and antibiotic!. You should start feeling better pretty quickly - but don't stop taking the antibiotics until you've finished them!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

He didn't tell you to irrigate with salt water!? That usually has you feeling a little better in a couple of days!. (You still have the infection, but you feel a little better!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com
