Different colored phlegm?!
Question: Different colored phlegm!?
When i first wake up in the morning i usually cough or 'hauk' up a dark brownish green mucus substance,
but then throughout the rest of the day i cough up the typical yellowish green!.
its been like this for about the last month and right before i had some throat infection, could it be related!? thanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

Green/yellow mucus indicates infection!. It could be related to your throat infection!. Mucus without any infection is clear/white!. You may need to see your Dr!. to get a round of antibiotics!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I've done that!.
I think I do it less since I found I was allergic to specific substances!.
By avoiding the allergy my throat doesn't need to make a constant stream of mucus to block incoming irritants which wound up in my lungs while I slept!.
Might not be the magic bullet, but if you can hauk up lungbutter 4 months out of the year, Id get an allergy test!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
