How do I know what I am allergic to?
Hi, I have developed an allergic rash and would really really like to know what I am allergic to. Could it be laundry soap? Because my hands turned red and swollen at night after I touched it, but I have used this same brand of laundry soap in the past and it has not produced this effect. Please help...

Two ways to learn what you are allergic to. 1) Set up a painful test with a doctor. You will be poked and scratched for over an hour and may take several visits. 2) Plain old observation. This takes a longer amount of time and a little bit of effort, but with a pen and pad you could narrow it down in maybe a week.
