Question: Healthy Foods That Make You Go!?
It is kind of embarrassing!.I don't know why!. I am grown and shouldn' t act in that manor,it is natural!.Anyways,I have never really been a regular person!.but now it is horrible! All my meds may cause constipation,they do!.I am constantly, every day constipated!.Dr!. said to take stool softeners!.So I did,it really didn't work after I went through the bottle I bought stimulant laxatives!.It takes 2 days and 5 pills!.I can't stand how my stomach feels and the cramping!.I think I eat allot and it doesn't seem like I go enough for it to clean me out!.I eat allot of salads,corn, green beans etc!.I just don't know what to do!.I have been drinking allot of milk and someone told me that was bad,but I drink it in effort to try to coat an upset stomach,you know the irritation from my meds!.What are better foods to eat to help you go!? What are the things that I should avoid!?Www@Answer-Health@Com


Answers:
Do not use stimulant laxatives, they are addictive & ruin your bowel function!.

Eat 2 portions of Fiber One cereal (that will give you about a days requirement of fiber!. Start with 1 serving & build up!.
Drink lots of water with fiber & during day!.
100%whole grains!.
Dark green vegetables like broccoli, spinach, kale, Romaine lettuce, etc!.
You can also try Metamucil a natural fiber source (psyllium)!.

Take 2 capsules 2X/day of Probiotics!.!.!.like Acidophilus!.!.!.get brand with billions of live cultures!.
(It's good bacteria for your stomach)!.

Try Milk of Magnesia
Do not drink milk, it's binding!.

Try Tums, Pepcid AC, Metamucil, Mylanta, Maalox for upset stomach & Gas X for gas!. You can also use Pepto Bismol for upset stomach!.!.!.it coats the stomach, don't worry!.!.!.it won't constipate you!.

Keep taking stool softener (generic of Colace) 1 or 2 every night as
needed!.

Take meds with food!.

For me if i eat too much spicey food it makes me go lol!. idk if you like that stuff, but spicey salsa is not bad at all and it makes ya go! be carefull not to make it too hot though or it can burn down there!. also slim fast make you go too!. i guess thats why they help u lose weight lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

Make sure all your grains are whole grains!. Avoid white rice, white bread, white pasta!. Drink lots of water, eat lots of fibre in the form of fruits, veggies and whole grains!.

Prune juice works every time for me!.
