Whe you pierce your cartilage, is it infected if it smells?!
Question:
Whe you pierce your cartilage, is it infected if it smells?
Answers:
If you have a rotten smell or a drainage or redness, there is a good chance of infection. You should get it checked, you might need antibiotics.
Also, cartilage is very avascular, it doesn't get a very good blood supply and it can rot or be damaged by piercing. We do not recommend cartilage piercings for this reason.
