Question:
Did i break my humidifier? Is it suppose to show a smoky mist?
My sister let me have what i believe is a humidifier and i am not sure if i broke it... I wet most of the machine... and i'm wondering if it's suppose to be misting white smoke like it first did?

You have to have all of the parts to the nebulizer in order for it to work right. If the baffle isn't in the bottom of the nebulizer cup, then it won't mist. The baffle is a little plastic piece that sits in the bottom of the neb cup. It's the part that breaks the medication into a fine mist.
If the baffle is in place, and it still isn't misting, then depending on where you got it wet you could have broken it. I'd try taking the filter out of the back of the machine and making sure that isn't wet. The compressor can't work if it can't pull air through the filter. Good luck!
