okay so i am freaking out! i was with this boy for a while and i lost my virginity to him but i moved and we lost contact, that we met back up and ended up going out again. and i know this was the stupidest thing so please dont give me a lecture but we had sex a few times without protection and he always finished inside me. this was a while ago though. i am not engaged, and i just found out that the other boy had sex with a girl that had hepatites c before he had sex with me. i have heard mixed things about getting it through semen. but i am so scared. i know i shouldnt have but i wasnt thinking. i have the biggest fear of dying i am seriously in like a constant panic atack now. i want to go get tested but i am way to scared of what the outcome is. i dont know what to do. can you get it from semen. my aunt has had it for a few years and she has sex all the time so she said no but the internet says yes. im so scared. please help. please dont be mean.

you need to be tested. you probly dont have it but testing is important. many people live long and well and are asymptomatic. eventually it can result in liver complications but this can be treated if you are aware of it- this is why testing is very important.
