Yesterday was my step-sis's b-day and my step-grandma was there!. She has shingles but i thought it would be okay to hug her!.
Last night i noticed a bump on my finger that looked similar to my chicken pok scar!.

The answer used to be no!. Doctors now say that if you had a mild case the first time around, that you could get them again!. There is now a vaccine for chicken pox, but you may be too old to have received it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
Just had shingles!. Those who said if you had a very mild case when you were young you could get it again are wrong!. You ould get shingles though!. Usually on 1 side of your body following a nerve!.
Adult chicken pox is called Herpes Zoster & can cause itching, & pain!.!.!.it is treated with Valtrex if caught early & I was told to put Gentamycin (topical antibiotic on the blistered blotches!.

Yes, the second time it is a little different and is called shingles!. can be a little rough, itches, rash, fever!. Not the most common event, but common enough!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
